Overview
Operating Principle
The LDE intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter operates on Faraday's law. As conductive liquid flows through the magnetic field inside the sensor, an electromotive force proportional to velocity is induced. Electrodes detect the signal, which is processed by the converter to output standard signals (4-20mA, pulse, etc.). Low-frequency square-wave excitation suppresses polarization interference and enhances zero stability.
Structural Features
The sensor consists of a measuring tube, insulating liner, excitation coils, and electrodes. The tube is stainless steel with PTFE or polyurethane lining for corrosion and abrasion resistance. Electrode materials include 316L, Hastelloy, titanium, and tantalum. The converter is wall-mounted or integral, IP68 rated for submersion. Digital processing with LCD display supports HART, Modbus, etc.
