Overview
Working Principle
The LDE intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter operates on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. When conductive liquid flows through the measuring tube, it cuts the magnetic field generated by the excitation coils, inducing an electromotive force proportional to the flow velocity at the electrodes. The signal is amplified, filtered, and digitized by the converter, and then processed by a microprocessor to calculate instantaneous and cumulative flow. Low-frequency rectangular wave excitation minimizes polarization potential interference.
Structural Features
Sensor: Measuring tube made of stainless steel or PTFE lined; electrode materials include 316L, Hastelloy, titanium, etc., for corrosion resistance. No obstructions, minimal pressure loss. Converter: High-performance DSP chip, supports multiple outputs (4-20mA, pulse, RS485 Modbus, HART), with self-diagnostics, empty pipe detection, and excitation alarm. Optional IP68 for submerged installation.
