LDE-S-DN25 sanitary electromagnetic flowmeter is designed for food & beverage industry, with 316L SS liner and Tri-Clamp connection, CIP/SIP capable. Based on Faraday's law, it measures conductive liquid flow with 0.5% accuracy, suitable for dairy, juice, beer, etc.
Overview
Working Principle
The LDE-S-DN25 sanitary electromagnetic flowmeter operates on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. When conductive fluid flows through the magnetic field, an electromotive force proportional to velocity is induced. Electrodes detect the signal, which is amplified and converted to standard current or frequency output. AC excitation minimizes polarization, ensuring stable measurement even with low conductivity.
Construction & Materials
Designed for sanitary applications: measuring tube in 316L SS (1.4404) with PFA/PTFE liner, surface roughness Ra≤0.8μm, food contact compliant. Electrodes in Hastelloy C-276 or titanium. Housing in 304 SS, IP67. Connection: Tri-Clamp for quick disassembly. Integral converter supports HART, Modbus.
