Product Overview
The oval gear flow meter is a positive displacement meter used for continuous or intermittent measurement and control of liquid flow in pipelines. It offers advantages such as wide range, high accuracy, low pressure loss, strong viscosity adaptability, ability to measure high-temperature and high-viscosity liquids, and easy calibration. It is applicable in industries such as petroleum, chemical, chemical fiber, transportation, commerce, food, and pharmaceutical. Equipped with pointer and digit wheel totalizers, it allows on-site direct reading of flow.
Measurement Principle
It relies on the pressure head of the measured medium to drive the oval gears to rotate for metering. Flow measurement is independent of the flow state; the higher the viscosity, the less leakage from the clearance between the gears and the measuring chamber, resulting in smaller errors. Therefore, it is especially suitable for high viscosity media. It is not suitable for fluids containing solid particles.
