This instrument directly displays instantaneous and total flow. Built-in EEPROM ensures data retention during power loss. It can be paired with various national standard weirs or flumes, widely used for total discharge metering or monitoring of various water qualities, with measurement results unaffected by water quality. With an explosion-proof probe, it meets the flow measurement requirements for sewage (especially oily wastewater) in explosion-proof areas of petroleum, chemical, and other industries.
Measurement Principle
It uses non-contact ultrasonic liquid level measurement, combined with the flow characteristic curve of the matched standard weir/flume to calculate flow. The instrument has built-in multiple algorithms to adapt to different weirs and flumes, and optional communication interfaces for DCS remote monitoring.
