Overview
Product Overview
The intelligent magnetoelectric flow meter is a velocity-type flow instrument that combines the advantages of both vortex and electromagnetic flow meters. It has no moving parts and provides stable metering. It can measure the volumetric flow of conductive liquids (including strong corrosive liquids such as acids, alkalis, and salts) as well as pulp, slurry, waste water, and solid-liquid two-phase suspensions. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, textile, food, pharmaceutical, papermaking, environmental protection, municipal, and water conservancy fields.
Measurement Principle
Inside the meter body, a trapezoidal bluff body is installed perpendicular to the flow direction, and a magnet downstream generates a strong magnetic field. When the medium flows past the bluff body, regular vortices are alternately shed from the two sides downstream. These vortices cut the magnetic field lines, inducing a frequency signal proportional to the flow rate. The signal is detected by electrodes and processed by a microcontroller to calculate the flow rate.
