Overview

Operating Principle

The LWGY-25 turbine flowmeter operates on the principle of conservation of angular momentum. As the oil flows through the sensor, it drives the turbine rotor at a speed proportional to the average flow velocity. The rotor cuts magnetic field lines, generating electrical pulses in the magnetic pick-off, which are then amplified to produce a standard frequency signal.

Construction

The sensor consists of a rotor assembly, flow straightener, magnetic pick-off, and housing. The rotor is made of high-permeability stainless steel with precision dynamic balancing for low-flow sensitivity. The housing is 304 stainless steel, rated up to 6.3 MPa, with DN25 flanged connections.
