The Balanced Flow Meter is a specialized differential pressure flow meter. It employs constant Reynolds number design and increases the thickness and machining accuracy of the throttling element, resulting in flow performance close to that of a Venturi tube. It achieves high-accuracy, long-term stable measurement with minimal permanent pressure loss and the shortest required straight pipe run.

Measurement Principle and Features

The multi-hole balanced structure equalizes the flow field, reducing eddies, vibration, and signal noise, significantly improving flow field stability. After actual flow calibration, accuracy can reach ±0.3% or ±0.5%, making it suitable for custody transfer metering. Pressure recovery is faster than traditional throttling devices, straight pipe runs can be as short as 0.5D to 2D, and permanent pressure loss is reduced by approximately 70% compared to traditional throttling devices.
